Serving Up Fun & Fitness!

At Salad Atelier, we’ve always believed that wellness goes beyond what’s on your plate. It’s about movement, connection, and creating joyful experiences that support a healthier lifestyle. That’s why we were thrilled to co-host our very first Pickleball Clinic in partnership with MyVivest at Pics & Rec, Menara Harvey Norman, on 11 October 2025.

Rallying a New Community of Movers

Pickleball is quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing sports in Malaysia; a fun, fast-paced game that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. It’s inclusive, social, and easy to pick up, which made it the perfect sport for first-timers of all ages to try out.

To lead the clinic, we brought in Gee Ci Long, arguably Malaysia’s top pickleball player, now turned coach. His passion for the sport was infectious as he guided attendees, many trying pickleball for the first time, through the basics with energy, encouragement, and a few cheeky trick shots.

From 9AM to 12PM, the courts were buzzing with excitement, especially from the many kids who showed up eager to learn from one of the best. It was a morning filled with movement, laughter, and high-fives all around.

Fueling Up After a Good Sweat

No good workout should end without the right fuel, and that’s where we came in. After a solid morning of sweat and smiles, we treated everyone to a hearty, nutritious meal from Salad Atelier.

From customizable salads to protein-packed wraps and bowls, our food is made to nourish active bodies, and this time, it was served as a thank you to every participant who brought their energy to the court.

We wanted this clinic to be more than just a workout, we wanted it to be a way to introduce the pickleball community to a lifestyle of balance. That means moving your body, connecting with others, and feeding yourself food that supports your health goals, without ever compromising on taste.

More Than Just a Sport, Its A Shared Lifestyle

This event wasn’t just about trying something new, it was about building a bridge between two passions: the rise of pickleball and the culture of eating well. We saw it firsthand, strangers became teammates, players became fans, and everyone left with a full heart (and stomach).

We’re excited to keep supporting events that bring people together and promote whole-body wellness, on and off the court.

We’re only just getting started, so if you missed this one, don’t worry.
